LinkedInYokohama launches road legal track tyre
Debuting in the UK at the Autosport International Show, Yokohama introduced its latest high performance tyre the ADVAN A052.
“The new ADVAN A052 offers race competitors, track day enthusiasts and those with modified or tuned cars a whole new level of performance,” said Mark Evans, head of motorsport for Yokohama High Performance Tyres. “Quite simply, the extreme levels of grip offered in both wet and dry conditions is sure to help everyone looking to improve their performance or reduce their lap times.”
The new tyre is the successor the ADVAN A048 and is a descendant of Yokohama’s tarmac rally range.
The tyre is road legal, coming in 19 different sizes ranging from 16 to 18 inches.
The ADVAN A052 has an asymmetric, high rigidity tread pattern as well as utilising an all new ‘sport compound’ and is included in the the MSA Blue Book tyre list 1B for 2017.
