Lotus partners with Williams Advanced Engineering
Lotus and Williams Advanced Engineering have formed a strategic technical partnership to share research and development into advanced propulsion technologies.
The partnership will see both Williams and Lotus develop the next generation of powertrains. It is part of Lotus Cars’ strategy to expand its knowledge and capability in the rapidly changing automotive landscape.
Williams Advanced Engineering’s expertise includes advanced propulsion systems and award-winning work applying knowledge derived from the pinnacle of battery technology during the inaugural four seasons of Formula E into electric vehicles.
Lotus Cars, which is a leader in lightweight structures and advanced materials, also has a proven expertise in integrating and applying new technologies.
